At Cake Poker, all players earn Frequent Player Points (FPPs) when playing in real money ring or tournament games. When you are dealt cards in a real money ring game, you'll earn 1 FPP for every dollar raked. For example, if your table was raked $1.25, you will receive 1.25 FPP. In tournament play, you’ll earn 7 FPPs per dollar in tournament fees paid. The tournament fee paid is indicated by the "(+ $)" when registering for a tournament. For example, if you joined Cake Poker’s $100,000 Guarantee event for $300 (+$20), you would earn 140 FPPs. The more you play, the quicker you earn, and the more opportunities you have to build gold.
These FPPs accumulate to become Gold Chips. The exchange process of FPPs to Gold Chips is automatic. FPPs accumulated turn into Gold Chips at a descending rate; each calendar month, after earning your first Gold Chip, you'll need fewer FPPs to earn your next.
Gold Chips are valuable currency at the Cake tables—redeemable for buy-ins to exclusive tournaments like the Sunday $50,000, $100,000 or $250,000 guaranteed tournaments, as well as high value satellites to Cake’s biggest guarantees, from the Daily $10 to the monthly $250,000, under the Gold Tab. Satellite buy-ins begin at only 2 Gold Chips.
