Introducing the Hammer 7-2
Any great online poker software program will tell you to dump 7-2 unless you are already committed in the blind but UB Poker will tell you it's a hand you can make money with

UB Poker 7Deuce Action
Hammer them with the 'Hammer'
The Hammer – also known as 7-2 – is famous for being the worst hand in
Holdem. Any poker player worth their salt wouldn't even play the hand unless
they were on the big blind and saw the flop for free. But now, if you have
the nerve to play the worst hand in Holdem, it can pay off big at
UB
Poker!
UB Poker has introduced new Seven Deuce Holdem tables where a side pot will
be won by any player who is lucky or just gutsy enough to play and win a pot
holding The Hammer. And since there is a cash reward at stake at these new
Holdem tables, the action can get pretty crazy because you never know if
that guy raising you has a real hand or is just trying to “hammer” you.
When you jump in a Holdem game at a Seven Deuce table, you will be at a
table where all players have contributed to a special 7-2 side pot and you
must contribute also. But unlike progressive jackpot tables where players
contribute to the jackpot every hand, each player at a Seven Deuce table
only contributes once to the side pot until it is won. When someone wins a
pot holding a 7-2 as their hole cards, they win the side pot and then each
player will contribute once again to the side pot until someone else wins
it.
And in a nice twist that makes it fair for all players, if you are playing
at a Seven Deuce table and have to leave before the side pot is won, you
will get your money back from your last contribution and the next player to
take your seat will have to contribute. By doing this, UB Poker has made
sure that you don't contribute to any side pot that you don't have a chance
to win which is fair to all players.
The next time you find yourself in a Texas Holdem online poker game at UB
and all you seem to be able to pick up is The Hammer, don't get frustrated -
just go to the
UB Poker
lobby and look for a special Seven Deuce Holdem table! But beware - the
action at these tables can get pretty intense as players try to hammer their
way through the pot to pick up some extra cash. If you have nerves of steel
and have what it takes to play The Hammer, then grab a piece of the action
and play the game with a new twist - where you can make the worst hand in
Holdem pay off big!
